Our Philosophy
Every child sees differently. Their art should too.
Artzland values original thinking, individual expression and the many different outcomes children can create from the same starting point.
Children are not expected to copy one finished picture. They begin with ideas, observations and questions, then make choices about what their artwork will communicate.
We do teach technique. Teachers demonstrate materials, methods and skills, but those techniques are tools for children to develop their own work—not instructions for everyone to make the same result.
Different outcomes are expected and valued.
